Report to: Production Manager
The Production Manager is responsible for organizing, managing, and supervising all production activities within the workshop to ensure operations are carried out safely, in compliance with procedures, meeting quality standards, on schedule, and cost-effectively. The role includes managing manpower, machinery, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with GMP, SSOP, and HACCP systems, and reporting directly to Production Management.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop, organize, and supervise production activities to ensure production output, product quality, and on-time delivery.
– Manage manpower, machinery, and materials while optimizing resource utilization within the production area.
– Coordinate and balance production activities to meet business plans and customer requirements.
– Collaborate with the QC Department to ensure products comply with quality standards, food
safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
– Monitor compliance with production procedures, hygiene requirements, and quality standards
throughout the manufacturing process.
– Promptly address and report issues that may affect product quality.
– Assign tasks, coach, train, and develop team leaders and production workers.
– Promote a safe, disciplined, and productive working environment.
– Propose and implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
– Monitor and control the utilization of materials, packaging, scrap, and waste within the production area.
– Participate in evaluating equipment, processes, and solutions to improve operational efficiency.
– Prepare periodic production reports and promptly communicate operational issues.
– Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
Minimum Educational Requirement:
– Graduated from university with a major in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or arelated discipline
Minimum Experience Required:
At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
– Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
– Proficient in office computer applications (MS Office).
– Experience in people management and food production processes.
– Good communication skills to work effectively in teams and with other departments.
